Diversity and Inclusion
Western Michigan University's certificate in diversity and inclusion program allows students in the strategic communication major to earn a 15-credit-hour certificate in diversity and inclusion. The addition of the certificate to the major allows students an opportunity to further specialize within the major and provides added expertise and credentials through a formal certificate.
This certificate will provide you with:
- Oral and written communication skills
- Enhanced leadership skills for a diverse workplace
- The ability to apply best practices in diversity and inclusion in organizations
