Aaron Coney, B.B.A.’12
Founder, Hustle Matters
Aaron Coney is a graphic designer and brand marketer with nearly 15 years of experience. An expert in building both relationships and brands, as well as creating high quality marketing material from concept to completion, he works around the clock to put his clients and partners in a position to make their goals and dreams a reality.
After graduating with a degree in advertising and promotion and relocating to Los Angeles, he built a career as an in-house designer for companies such as Disney, CBS, FOX and Dash Radio by day, and at night he pursued his side hustle—freelance appearance booking and brand marketing for celebrities.
After a few years of glowing reviews, he decided to launch his own diversified marketing company, Hustle Matters. He has worked with a variety of feature film, television, music and voice talent such as multi-platinum selling recording artist Big Sean, Grammy-winning producer Jason “Problem” Martin, former Bellator Mixed Martial Arts and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Sean Schemmel (the voice of Goku in the English-language versions of the Dragon Ball franchise), the original Black Power Ranger Walter Jones, renowned actor RJ Cyler and DXSH founder DJ Skee.
After a decade in entertainment marketing, Coney understands the power of storytelling to influence and motivate consumers. His aim is to continue combining his creativity and business prowess to elevate brands, inspire others and cultivate meaningful experiences between celebrities and the fans who admire their work.
