With a notable career spanning more than 40 years, Mark Crawford serves as shareholder and chairman of the Board of Doeren Mayhew, the 57th largest CPA and consulting firm in the nation. As leader and steward of the company, Crawford guides the firm’s client service, growth, people development, risk management, and cultural and strategic direction. Under his guidance, the firm has grown its revenue by more than 700 percent and expanded its footprint across the U.S. as well as abroad.
Additionally, Crawford was a key developer of Doeren Mayhew Capital Advisors LLC, a leading investment bank, providing buy and sell advisory, capital raising and transactional services to domestic and global middle-market businesses. His leadership and collaboration with the management team has earned Doeren Mayhew the designation of a “Best of the Best” firm annually for 20 years.
Beyond overseeing the firm’s operations, Crawford draws on his public accounting and business management experience to be a trusted advisor to hundreds of closely held businesses. With extensive expertise in steering companies through all stages of growth, Crawford’s clients have come to rely on him for his candor and help in overcoming operational and financial challenges.
Crawford’s commitment extends outside of the accounting profession to a number of charitable organizations, including the Rainbow Connection, American Heart Association and the Boys and Girls Club, as well as involvement as finance director of two U.S. Women’s Open Golf Championships.
