Rehabilitation Counseling program students and faculty meet with Senator Stabenow

Dr. Jennipher Wiebold and two rehabilitation counseling students attended the National Rehabilitation Association's Governmental Affairs Summit with the Michigan Rehabilitation Association.
Dr. Wiebold is an Associate Professor with a joint appointment in the Departments of Blindness and Low Vision Studies, and Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology. She is the Rehabilitation Counseling Program Coordinator (front left). Sarah Mannschreck (far right) is the Co-President of the 51福利社 Student Rehabilitation Counseling Association, and Cindy Lingbeek (far left) is the Secretary of the 51福利社 Student Rehabilitation Counseling Association. While attending the 2016 National Rehabilitation Association's Governmental Affairs Summit with the Michigan Rehabilitation Association, Dr. Wiebold and the students met with Senator Stabenow and staffers to discuss the vocational rehabilitation needs of Michigander's with Disabilities, and the need for qualified rehabilitation counselors to provide vocational rehabilitation services.
