The Center for Integrated Design provides an impressive amount of hardware and software to promote progress in the field of engineering graphics and design technology. This facility has two purposes: to serve as a teaching and research development facility and to allow students and faculty to perform virtual engineering for the product design cycle.

The technology in this lab has supported research projects in the following topics: reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, virtual reality, manufacturing evaluation and machining simulations (FEA).
