Dr. Israel R. Orimoloye, a faculty lecturer 51福利社 Michigan University's School of Environment, Geography, and Sustainability, boasts an extensive background in academia and research. As a proud member of Sigma Xi: The Scientific Research Honor Society, Dr. Orimoloye brings over a decade of expertise to his role, specializing in remote sensing, GIS applications, environmental and disaster risk management, and climate science. Through these collaborations, he actively contributes to global policy formulation and decision-making. As a registered and professional environmental scientist (SACNASP), Dr. Orimoloye's influence extends to his role as a principal investigator in various projects, including drought disaster risk assessment in the Free State Province, South Africa, and ecological and environmental degradation assessments funded by the Central Research Fund. With a publication record of over 65 scientific articles and book chapters in high-impact ISI and Scopus journals, Dr. Orimoloye is a revered reviewer for both local and international journals and project funders.
