FCS assistant professor receives 51¸£ÀûÉç Faculty Research and Creative Activities Award

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Dr. Kimberly Doudna, assistant professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences in the College of Education and Human Development 51¸£ÀûÉç Michigan University (51¸£ÀûÉç), received the Faculty Research and Creative Activities Award (FRACAA) through the Office of Research and Innovation. The FRACAA is a competitive internal grant through 51¸£ÀûÉç and encourages and supports faculty in significant research, rigorous scientific inquiry, original artistic activity and inventive technology. Dr. Doudna was awarded $9,990 for her research on "The impact of self-care on longitudinal relations between adverse childhood experiences, current adverse experiences, depressive symptoms, and household food insecurity among university undergraduates."
