Workforce Education Minor
Program overview
Have you ever been told that you are good at sharing your ideas? Have you ever thought about teaching, but not in a traditional school environment? This is your opportunity to take the extensive knowledge from your major and learn to share it with others.
Students in this 15 credit minor will focus exclusively on technical training and curriculum design, which pairs well with a variety of majors. Graduates from these programs will be well suited for technical training and education positions that are outside of the certified teacher K-12 school environment. For example, a student with specialized skills/major related to business, the arts, engineering, or a technical field could learn how to train others in a technical setting.
