Dr. Duke Leingpibul is a professor of marketing with specialties in logistics and supply chain. After he received the B.S.C. in food science and technology from Kasetsart University, Bangkok, he worked for Nestle (Thailand) and Nestle ASEAN as a food scientist for five years before pursuing his MBA from Missouri State University with a focus on information systems, marketing and logistics. He earned a Ph.D. in logistics and marketing from the University of Tennesee. Leingpibul's teaching expertise includes logistics and transportation management, logistics and supply chain analytical tools, business modeling, and supply chain management. His research interests include logistics and supply chain, e-commerce, global outsourcing, demand management, food logistics and food supply chain, the use of structure equation modeling in logistics and supply chain research, and supply chain measurement.
Leingpibul has presented his work at several conferences, including the Council of Supply Chain Management Professional Conference, Decision Science Institute Conference, Americas Conference on Information System and more. He also has been track chair for several years at the annual Decision Sciences Institute. Leingpibul is active as a guest speaker and consultant with several Thai corporations, including the Thai government.
