Study Abroad and Research and Creative Support
The Lee Honors College is pleased to offer our honors students scholarships to help defray the costs of study abroad or to facilitate the pursuit of research and creative activities.
The Lee Honors College Awards Review Committee, made up of faculty from various academic colleges, chooses recipients of these competitive scholarships based primarily on the quality of proposals rather than financial need. We strongly recommend that students work closely with a faculty mentor to complete the scholarship application. Many of these scholarships were made possible by our generous donors and scholarship recipients may be asked to contact donors to thank them.
Study Abroad Scholarships
The number and dollar amounts of scholarships vary each year depending on available funds. Generally students with a strong application and who are studying abroad for longer periods receive larger awards.
Endowed Scholarships
- The Carl and Winifred Lee Endowed Research Travel Scholarship: This scholarship supports travel for Lee Honors College students pursuing original research and/or study abroad.
