Students enrolled in at least one credit hour are eligible to live in 51福利社鈥檚 residence halls and apartments. Apartment complexes are for upper-level students and have additional eligibility requirements.

Move-in
- Residence halls: New international students move into the residence halls Jan. 2. Please call the phone number posted on your building鈥檚 front door when you arrive. If you are able, please complete online check-in via the the first week of January: Housing Portal > Residence Halls > Spring move-in.

Residence halls open at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4. When you arrive, go to the service desk in the main lobby. Staff will give you your key and walk you through essential information. Prior to arrival, complete the online check-in via the the first week of January: housing portal > Residence Halls > Spring move-in.
New students check in between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 at the Housing and Residence Life office, top floor of . Check-in includes receiving your key and completing an online form. Weekend check-in is not available.
Students and parents can park in any student space in lots designated A, C, F, K and W during move-in. Cars in employee (R), reserved and handicapped (unless a permit is displayed) spaces will be ticketed.
Virtual parking passes are available from Parking Services. They should be purchased by the end of the first week of class.
Residence halls: If you have any concerns with your room upon arrival, please speak with the hall director or graduate assistant. They can be found in the hall office or by contacting a number posted at the front desk. Custodial is on standby to assist, and maintenance can be contacted.
Apartments: If you have any concerns with your room/apartment upon arrival, please contact a resident manager or the housing office. Custodial is on standby to assist, and maintenance can be contacted.
After you check-in, you will complete the online room/apartment inventory found in the . This documents the state of your room, furniture, etc. upon arrival. When you move out, housing staff compare the inventory to the room/apartment's move-out condition to determine if damages happened. Room inventories are due a few days after you move in.
Once you get into your room/apartment, on the wireless network. If you have a , register them on the network too. The site includes a list of incompatible devices.
Mail will begin to be delivered on the first day of move-in. Click here for details about sending and receiving mail.
Students will go to Parking Services during regular business to . To expedite the process, a photo can be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Most buildings require swiping your ID to enter, so we recommend getting your ID the day you arrive.
Pets, other than fish and service animals, are not allowed in campus housing. We recommend leaving family pets at home so you do not have to leave them in the car during cold temperatures.

If you order a EcoMax (fridge/microwave combination unit), delivery arrangements will be made on or shortly following your move-in day.

All halls but Ackley/Shilling come with loft kits already in the room. Ackley/Shilling residents must request one, and quantities are limited. Some beds may already be lofted. If not, the extra head and footboard, stabilizer rail and safety bar will be in the closet. You can set the loft to any height you desire. Watch our video showing how to loft your bed so you know what to do.
Each hall will have 15-20 large bins students or families can use out to help get belongings to the room. Families can also bring their own carts and dollies to move boxes and belongings. We will disinfect bins between users as we are able, but we recommend bringing something to wipe it down with prior to use.
Apartments and Spindler Hall do not have carts or dollies available for move-in.

Valleys and Western Heights have elevators. A service elevator will be available upon request at Henry Hall. To expedite the use of elevators, we encourage you to take the elevator up with belongings, but use the stairs to come down, as long as you are able to do so.
