Girouard’s poster presentation was titled, “Evolving International Student Recruitment and Support at a U.S. Community College,” and discussed the research done to promote recruitment and retention efforts for international students at the community college level in the U.S. The project centered around the process of including student voices, presenting feedback and goals to administration and what actions need to be implemented at the institution, and reflects a strategic plan of how to create opportunities to further globalize campuses by partnering with key stakeholders to evolve international student support and recruitment.
