Dr. Xiaodan “Abby” Wang is an associate professor of management 51¸ŁŔűÉç Michigan University's Haworth College of Business.
Her primary research interests include:
- Venture capital firms’ influence on the strategy and performance of entrepreneurial start-ups
- Internationalization of venture capital firms
- Entrepreneurship in emerging and transitional economies
- Alliance strategies of new ventures
Her research into venture-capital-based IPOs and underpricing received the Best Doctoral Student Paper award and the Best Paper award and was included in the Best Paper proceedings of the Academy of Management annual meeting and Southern Management Association annual meeting.
Prior to joining 51¸ŁŔűÉç in 2011, she taught at Texas Tech University, where she was an AT&T chancellor’s fellow while completing her Ph.D. in management.
