Bio:
Mary Nielsen joined Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business in 2016 as an instructor in the Department of Marketing.
Nielsen has held various sales and human resources leadership roles at Estee Lauder, Stryker, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Hill-Rom, Maestro, Pedigo Products and Valeant.
A native of east Michigan, Nielsen has a broad business background with expertise in sales, sales training and management, human resource management, recruiting, organizational development and marketing. She maintains ties in the beauty, medical devices and pharmaceuticals industries.
She served for 10 years on the staff of YMCA of greater Kalamazoo, and for four years as a Kalamazoo Literacy Council volunteer.
