Undergraduate Scholarships

Undergraduate students in the Department of Mathematics may be eligible for financial assistance as noted below. (Deadline: Feb. 15 [applications received after this date will be considered if openings remain])

Graduate Assistantships

Teaching/research assistantships are awarded each year to new and continuing graduate students. In most cases assistantships are awarded for the academic year beginning in fall and include:

  • A stipend and up to nine credit hours per semester of tuition remission for graduate courses.
  • An average of 20 hours per week of duties in the department such as tutoring, recitations and teaching courses in mathematics.
