Exploratory advising serves:
- Students choosing to further explore their options before declaring a major.
- Anticipated fine arts majors waiting to audition for their intended program.
- Prospective engineering majors completing prerequisite courses for their intended program.
- Any student or a prospective student looking for general information on undergraduate majors.
Advising Update 2024
The advising office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Our advising services are available via phone, video, and in-person.
Drop-in advising
This fall, we will provide drop-in advising prior to the registration period for first-year students.
Friday, Nov. 1, 2024 | 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 | 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 | 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
No appointment is necessary; simply come to 1275 Ellsworth Hall for advising assistance.
Starting Monday, Oct. 7 through Friday, Nov. 1, these advisors have drop-in hours:
Dr. Ron Dillard: Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Alpha only)
Julie Corey: Wednesdays from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. (Alpha, Exploratory)
Dillon Dolby: Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m. (Alpha, Exploratory)
Rich McMullen: Fridays, 2 to 4 p.m. (Alpha, Exploratory)
