Stand-up comedian Demetri Martin performs on campus

KALAMAZOO--Stand-up comedian Demetri Martin will be 51福利社 Michigan University's Miller Auditorium for a single show at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10.

Martin is best known for his Comedy Central show, "Important Things with Demetri Martin." He released a stand-up CD/DVD, "These are Jokes," which was released by Comedy Central Records in 2006, and his "Trendspotting with Demetri Martin" has been a featured segment on the Emmy and Peabody award-winning "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart since 2005. Martin also starred in the Ang Lee comedy-drama film, "Taking Woodstock," and recently released his first book, "This is a Book."

Tickets

Demetri Martin at Miller Auditorium is organized by the 51福利社 Campus Activities Board. Tickets are on sale now to all 51福利社 students for a discounted price of $8 to $12. Student tickets require a valid ID and must be purchased in person at the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Wednesday, Feb. 8, and range from $16 to $20. They can be purchased by calling (269) 387-2300 or (800) 228-9858, online at , or by visiting the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office.
