Dr. John A. Fochtman, a retired Western Michigan University physician, died Dec. 13 at his home in Petoskey, Mich. He was 74.
Fochtman joined the Sindecuse Health Center's medical staff in 1978 and retired in 1992 after 14 years of service to the University.
Before coming to 51福利社, he owned a medical practice in Petoskey. After retiring, he and his late wife lived for 10 years in Guam, where Fochtman served as a public health doctor. The couple moved back to Petoskey in 2003, and he became active in that city's Friendship Center.
