Open house highlights opportunities in history

History Happening April 4

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University undergraduate students have an opportunity to learn about research, internships and graduate study in the Department of History during the fifth annual History Happening open house from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, on the fourth floor of Friedmann Hall.

Students, faculty and others affiliated with the department speak about these and other opportunities as well information on study abroad and undergraduate history Fellowships. Members of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honorary society, will also be on hand to discuss their organization and encourage other students to join.

Those in attendance are entered in a raffle for books and other prizes. The event is free, and pizza and soft drinks will be provided.
