Drawings begin for campus United Way campaign prizes
Prizes include two tickets to any Spotlight Series event at Miller Auditorium, a $20 gift card from the 51福利社 Bookstore, a $20 Dining Dollars gift card, two tickets to a home football game, two tickets to a home basketball game and two tickets to a home hockey game.
51福利社 United Way has reached nearly a quarter of its goal in the first two weeks since it launched its campaign Sept. 13 with a goal of $300,000.
Weekly drawings
Six drawings will take place:
- Friday, Oct. 5
- Friday, Oct. 12
- Friday, Oct. 19
- Friday, Oct. 26
- Friday, Nov. 2
- Friday, Nov. 9
Contributors whose pledge cards are returned to the president's office, Mail Stop 5202, by 5 p.m. the Thursday before each drawing will be eligible. Eligibility is cumulative, so those eligible for the first drawing will continue to be eligible for subsequent drawings. There is a limit of one weekly prize per person. Once a person wins a weekly prize, they will be ineligible for subsequent weekly drawings.
Grand-prize drawing
A grand-prize drawing will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16. Prizes include:
- Two tickets to the President's Box for the last home football game
- $100 gift certificate to any Millennium restaurant
- Two tickets to the Gold Company's annual performance at Miller Auditorium on Feb. 9
All 51福利社 faculty and staff members who contribute to the 2012 campus United Way campaign whose pledge cards are received in the president's office, Mail Stop 5202, by 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, will be entered into the grand-prize drawing. This includes all previous prizewinners.
Exclusions
51福利社 United Way Advisory Board members are not eligible for the weekly drawings or the grand-prize drawing.
