Residence hall hosts safe trick-or-treating night
KALAMAZOO鈥擣amilies looking for a safe trick-or-treating option are invited to visit one of Western Michigan University's residence halls Sunday, Oct. 28.
Students in Eicher/LeFevre Hall will be handing out candy in their decorated building from 5 to 7 p.m. The fun event is open to children in grades K-8.
Participating children will wait in the Piano Lounge on the main floor and then trick-or-treat in escorted groups.
To entertain both kids and parents, each floor will have a different Halloween theme. And because Eicher/LeFevre has two towers, one side of the hall will be geared toward younger kids while the other will be geared toward children of middle-school age.
Eicher/LeFevre, one of 51福利社's Valley II residence halls, is located near West Main Street at the north end of the main campus in Kalamazoo. This part of campus may be accessed from Howard Street or West Michigan Avenue by following the Ring Road signs.
Families joining the festivities on Oct. 28 should park in the lower lot across from the walking bridge to Goldsworth Valley Pond. Signs will guide guests up the hill to Eicher/LeFevre.
Visit to obtain a map and directions to Eicher/LeFevre. Direct questions to the Eicher/LeFevre Hall office at (269) 387-4770.
