Learn more about entrepreneurialism April 4.

KALAMAZOO鈥擶estern Michigan University students, faculty, staff and Kalamazoo-area residents are invited to learn more about what it means to be an entrepreneur at a screening of the the documentary 鈥淭he Startup Kids鈥 coupled with a meet-and-greet with local entrepreneurs and a video chat question-and-answer session with the film鈥檚 directors at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in 2000 Schneider Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Two Icelandic entrepreneurs with a passion for technology are behind the documentary, looking to motivate young people to become entrepreneurs and learn from others around the world. The documentary focuses on interviews with the founders of startups from the U.S. and Europe.

The event is organized by MBA student and entrepreneur Daniel Proczko, and is a partnership with the local entrepreneurial community as well as with the Haworth College of Business. 鈥淚 hope the event will inspire attendees to believe they can create their own businesses and show them that the support and help they may need is available to them here in Kalamazoo,鈥 says Proczko.
