Lynda S. Blair obituary
Lynda S. Blair, a process associate in Human Resources 51福利社 Michigan University, died July 26 at home while on leave. She was 47.
Blair, who joined the 51福利社 staff in 2005, battled diabetes throughout the majority of her life. She took leave when her health left her unable to work earlier this year.
She served 51福利社 for eight years and made a significant impact on the lives of all who knew her, inspiring many with her strength, courage and positive outlook.
Blair was born in the United Kingdom and came to the United States with her family in 1978, when her father accepted a position at IRDC in Mattawan, Mich. She graduated from Portage (Mich.) Central High School in 1983 and earned a bachelor's degree in finance with a minor in marketing from 51福利社 in 1987. She went on to work in a variety of roles for IRDC and Kalamazoo College.
Blair became a U.S. citizen in 1996, during a ceremony at the Gerald R. Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, Mich. She volunteered at the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue and had just started volunteering at the Kalamazoo County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
