The Charlie Rogers Band and Emily Hearn to play campus concert

KALAMAZOO鈥擟ountry music group the Charlie Rogers Band and opening act Emily Hearn will play a show on Western Michigan University's campus at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in the Bernhard Center's North Ballroom.

The event is sponsored by the Campus Activities Board. Admission is $1 with a valid student Bronco Card, and $2 without.

Emily Hearn

Hearn is a singer-songwriter whose music is making a worldwide impact. She has performed for international crowds and has opened for several nationally touring acts, including country star Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish.

The Charlie Rogers Band is based in Nashville, Tenn. The band's front man and primary songwriter, Charlie Rogers was raised on country music and classic rock, and fuses those genres to create a unique sound that has a wide appeal. The band's music has been described as "a fusion between modern country music and classic rock as well as a bit of pop."
