The Housed
The 鈥淗oused鈥 installation builds from work to work, image to image鈥攔ecognizable but mysterious, ultimately creating a whole that endows once-independent parts with additional breadth and depth. Teale works in the interstices of art expectations; near abstractions turn out to be loaded with content.
Your Place or Mine?
"Your Place or Mine?" is a timely exhibit. With fewer and fewer places being affordable, spaces for artists are increasingly rare. When artists stake out a new territory, and developers follow and price them, and other residents, out, artistic endeavors are threatened.
