Consider It Dunn campaign starts with T-shirt fundraiser
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擶estern Michigan University is upping its commitment to meet critical unmet student needs with a fundraising and student engagement campaign known as the Consider It Dunn Campaign.
Beginning this week, students are selling official Dunn Zone T-shirts, featuring the face of 51福利社 President John M. Dunn, for $10. All proceeds will go to the Student Emergency Relief Fund. The fund is accessible to all 51福利社 students facing immediate financial need and part of the Invisible Need Project that also includes a food pantry for students in need.
The T-shirt was designed by 51福利社 student Cody Potter, a senior from Kentwood, who is majoring in computer science. Potter also is information technology coordinator for the Western Student Association.
The fundraiser is supported by the Office of the President, WSA and Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Dunn Zone shirt is the official student shirt for home football games as a part of the new student experience in the Dunn Zone and new entrance at Gate 8.
Purchase a Dunn Zone T-shirt
WSA will be selling Dunn Zone shirts at the flagpoles on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the fall semester.
- Registered student organizations that choose to participate in the campaign will be selling shirts.
- Shirts will also be for sale at the end of the Dunn Zone at home football games.
- Alumni will be able to purchase their shirt online via and have it shipped for an additional fee.
Dunn Zone shirts are $10 cash only on campus. Cash and charge will be accepted in the Dunn Zone.
