KALAMAZOO, Mich.— Two public meetings Wednesday, Oct. 29, and a survey of community views will give members of the campus community a chance to be involved in a campuswide effort to make the campus easier for both visitors and campus community members to navigate.

The first meeting, set for 9 to 10:30 a.m. in 204 Bernhard Center, will give members of the campus community an opportunity to see the findings, to date, of Cloud Gehshan, a consulting firm that has been working with a campuswide committee charged with improving campus wayfinding.

The work is aimed at making it easier for visitors to find and navigate the different areas of the campus and to make both pedestrian and vehicle use of the campus easier. Cloud Gehshan has done its research and analysis, identifying a number of wayfaring issues and potential solutions.

Cloud Gehshan's team will be accompanied by representatives from Winfield & Co., a digital wayfinding firm that will expand the conversation to look at specialized apps and other electronic tools to help people navigate the campus. That firm will give a public presentation from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., also in 204 Bernhard Center.
