Students, employees can now get 51福利社 Alert for regional locations
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擳he 51福利社 Alert emergency notification system is now available for the University's multiple regional locations.
An enhancement to the system that makes access to alerts available for 51福利社's eight regional locations was activated Jan. 12. The alerts are designed to notify members of the 51福利社 community to emergencies and campus closures.
According to Cam Vossen, 51福利社 emergency management administrator, 51福利社 students and employees can pick up to two Extended University Programs sites in addition to the 51福利社 main campus, and register to receive alerts from those locations. All 51福利社 Alert recipients receive main campus alerts.
When those registered for alerts receive emergency and closure information, she says, the Caller ID on their phones will reflect the location for which the alert is being posted.
