Kalamazoo Peace Center slates benefit for local urban farm

KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擳he Kalamazoo Peace Center, a registered student organization 51福利社 Michigan University, will hold a square dance and benefit from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the Wesley Foundation on campus.

Bow-hunter and Arrows to the Street will perform at the all-ages show. Admission is $2 for students and $5 for non-students. Free parking is available.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Tabitha Farm Urban Homestead and Community Garden, which is located on the south side of Kalamazoo. The farm provides land for neighborhood residents to grow and harvest food and a safe space for children to play. The farm hopes to add a playground on its two-acre lot.

The benefit is sponsored by the Western Student Association Allocations Commission.
