51福利社 engages football fans with Facebook team frame
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擶hen the Western Michigan University football team faces Middle Tennessee State next week at the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl, fans around the world will have a new way to cheer on the team from afar.
51福利社 is one of only 33 institutions nationwide to pilot the team frame, a new Facebook feature. Facebook鈥檚 team frames offer college sports fans the option to temporarily change their profile pictures to show support for their favorite sports team.

Facebook team frames are still in the beta stage and have largely been reserved for bigger institutions and team fan bases. Efforts by social media, graphic design and marketing staff in the Office of University Relations led to 51福利社 becoming the first school in the Mid-American Conference to have a team frame for its fans.
"Thank you to Facebook and our administration for continuing to innovate. These frames show how we continue to progress in becoming an elite brand on a national level," says P.J. Fleck, 51福利社 head football coach.
