Homecoming activities for students announced
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擜 competition for the most team spirit, food drive, flag football and basketball tournaments, crowning of king and queen, as well as a one of the largest gatherings of multicultural students to showcase culture are some of the featured activities for students during Western Michigan University鈥檚 Homecoming Week Monday through Saturday, Oct. 3-8.
Sponsored by Student Activities and Leadership, there are also several opportunities for students to volunteer throughout the week.

Monday, Oct. 3
- Breakfast of Champions, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, 9 to 11 a.m.
- Multicultural Review, Miller Auditorium, 7 p.m.
- Kickoff Bowl, Waldo Stadium, 9 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 4
- Breakfast of Champions, College of Aviation, 9 to 11 a.m.
- Tug of Oar and food drive, Gabel Natatorium, 9 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 5
- Western Wednesday, Campus Flagpoles, noon to 2 p.m.
- 3-on-3 basketball tournament, Student Recreation Center, 9 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 6
- Yell Like Hell, Miller Plaza, 6 p.m.
- Block Party, Miller Plaza, 7 p.m.
- Campus Activities Board movie, Miller Auditorium, 9 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 7
- Voting ends for king and queen, noon.
- National Pan-Hellenic Council Marchdown, Miller Auditorium, 7 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 8
- Football game Broncos vs. Northern Illinois, Waldo Stadium, 6:30 p.m.
- King and queen announced, Waldo Stadium, game half-time.
