Pianist May Phang to perform in free recital
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Pianist May Phang will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall 51¸£ÀûÉç Michigan University.
The recital is open to the public free of charge and will include works by Mozart, Chopin and Curt Cacioppo.

Phang is a piano professor at DePauw University, and maintains a busy performing schedule in addition to her teaching.
Nonprofit organization Young Audiences of Indiana describes her playing as "fluid and masterful" and Classical New Jersey says it's "magnificent … with a mix of sensitivity and bravura."
Phang is the third guest in the 51¸£ÀûÉç School of Music's Piano Masters series.
