Panel discussion examines spread of fake news

KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擜n interactive panel discussion examining the widespread proliferation of fake news stories will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 51福利社 Michigan University.
"How to Catch Fake News Before it Catches You" is the topic of the event at the Lee Honors College Lounge. Panelists will discuss how to avoid getting caught by a fake news story, the impact of fake news on our democracy, why it spreads so easily, and whose responsibility it is to prevent the spread.
