KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Actor, writer and woodworker Nick Offerman will perform 51������ Michigan University at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 6, as part of the spring comedy show.

Sponsored by the Campus Activities Board, the event at Miller Auditorium will be the largest comedy event the student-run organization has brought since Girl Code/Guy Code in 2014.

Tickets are on sale now at $10 for 51������ students and $25 for the general public and can be purchased in advance in person at the Miller Auditorium Box Office, over the phone at (269) 387-2300 or online at . Ticket prices increase to $15 or students and $30 for the general public the day of the show.

Offerman

Offerman has been a familiar face in film and TV in recent years. He is best known for his work on the program “Parks & Recreation” playing the role of Ron Swanson. The popular comedy show has won more than 20 awards and been nominated some 120 times. He was also seen in the second season of the FX hit series “Fargo” alongside Billy Bob Thorton and Allison Tolman.

In addition to doing television, Offerman has been seen in many films, including “The Founder,” “21 Jump Street,” “22 Jump Street,” “We’re the Millers,” “A Walk in the Woods,” “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” “Sin City” and  more. In 2014, he released his comedy special, “American Ham,” on Netflix.
