Media production company founder next up in entrepreneurship series
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擳he founder of Rhino Media will be the next speaker in the Entrepreneurship Forum speaker series 51福利社 Michigan University's Haworth College of Business.
51福利社 alumnus Kevin Romeo will speak at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, in 2150 Schneider Hall. The event is free and open to the public and begins with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (269) 387-6059 or at wmich.edu/business/e-rsvp. Free parking is available in Fetzer Center Lot 72F.
Rhino Media and Romeo
Romeo is a CEO, founder, entrepreneur and filmmaker. He started Rhino Media in 2010 while working as a substitute teacher. Rhino has since grown from a two-person company to a 20-person enterprise.
The company is a multifaceted media company with an emphasis on storytelling and relationship-building. Rhino produces films, animations and commercials shot for clients local and around the globe. Local clients include 51福利社, Heritage Guitar Inc. and Dark Horse Brewing Co.
Rhino Media has won two gold and two bronze awards from the American Advertising Federation of West Michigan, one of the bronze awards being for its two-minute "Memories of East Campus" film for 51福利社's Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
Romeo graduated from 51福利社 in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in business.
