Leder and Decadent Dogs
Leder's creative spirit and friendly personality led her to consider owning her own business. After attending business workshops and consulting with the southwest Michigan Small Business Development Center on 51¸£ÀûÉç's campus, she decided to purchase Decadent Dogs in 2011. Located in downtown South Haven, the business is a dog boutique, selling dog food, treats, toys, and health and grooming supplies, while also providing dog owners with support, education and fun activities for their pets.
In 2015, Leder opened a second Decadent Dogs location in downtown Holland, providing the area with the same high-quality dog products and expertise.
Prior to owning Decadent Dogs, Leder spent 32 years as a clinical laboratory scientist at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, working in all areas of the laboratory including as a lead technologist in the virology department.
