KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擱ecommendations for bus routes, walkability, bike usage and parking 51福利社 Michigan University, as well as input on a future road as part of a new development project, are the focus of two public sessions Thursday, Sept. 26, on Main Campus.

Consultants who have been working on 51福利社's Transportation Master Plan and the proposed Hilltop Village Roadway will speak with campus and community members from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the lobby of the Bernhard Center.

They will reveal their findings regarding campus transportation priorities collected from 51福利社 and the Kalamazoo community during a series of engagements, including open houses, an online survey and individual focus group meetings, which were all held earlier this year. Organizers  also will garner input on the design of a new roadway that will be a significant feature of the  redevelopment in Hilltop Village, the southern portion of Main Campus.

The Transportation Master Plan, or TMP, is focusing on the Main Campus as well as its connectivity to the East Campus, Parkview Campus and aviation site in Battle Creek. It represents the University's first comprehensive transportation and mobility plan.
