Bio:

Dr. Anthony DeFulio is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology 51福利社 Michigan University.

Dr. DeFulio has a broad background in behavioral science that spans the laboratory to practice spectrum. Prior to joining the faculty at 51福利社, Dr. DeFulio was a faculty member in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences for six years. During that time, Dr. DeFulio helped to develop and evaluate behavioral interventions designed to promote drug abstinence and medication adherence. 

More recently, his research has focused on using smartphones to promote the dissemination of contingency management interventions. He also conducts discovery-oriented work to elucidate basic behavioral processes involved in decision making and behavioral economics. Students who have recently completed their doctoral degrees under his supervision have gone on to postdoctoral fellowships at NIDA, Baylor University, and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. 

Dr. DeFulio has been the principal investigator on five NIH-funded grants, and a co-investigator on many others. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Faculty Senate, and is the board liaison to the Research Policies Council. He currently serves as an associate editor for Perspectives on Behavior Science as well as for Frontiers in Psychiatry: Addictive Disorders, and has previously served on the board of editors for the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior and the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis.
