Kalamazoo Community
Western Michigan University and the greater Kalamazoo area offer a wide variety of artistic venues for students and the civic community including the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, the Kalamazoo Black Arts and Cultural Center, the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center, and a monthly first Friday of the month Art Hop coordinated by the Arts Council of Kalamazoo in which our students often participate. The Sculpture Tour Program at 51福利社 showcases a rotating collection of large-scale outdoor sculpture on campus. Students have the opportunity to interact with and assist visiting artists during the installation process.
