Register for an in-person informational session hosted by the 51福利社 Graduate College to learn more about graduate program options, including application deadlines and requirements. Sessions will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Graduate College (West Walwood Hall, East Campus). If there is no registration, the session will be canceled that month, so be sure to sign-up in advance!

Learn more about these bachelor-to-master鈥檚 degree pathways, ask questions, and hear from a current accelerated master鈥檚 in mechanical engineering student, Luis Jacobo Mejia.

Dissertation Completion Workshop

On Monday, Nov. 11, the Graduate College will host a half-day dissertation writing workshop designed to help doctoral students manage their dissertation process with a marathon-like approach, emphasizing time management, goal setting, advisor management, and daily task accomplishment. Participants will leave with concrete strategies to structure their writing, maintain motivation, and effectively communicate with their advisors.
This free workshop will be facilitated by Wendy Carter-Veale, PhD, director of social science research, evaluator, Graduate School, University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

This workshop is designed for 51福利社 faculty, staff, and graduate students (particularly Teaching Assistants or those with an interest in entering the professoriate) to help strengthen student-faculty mentorships using practical tools provided by Dr. Ortiz that enhance these relationships across a variety of fields and disciplines. The guest speaker is Dr. Christine Ortiz, a Morris Cohen (1933) Professor in Materials Science & Engineering in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
