Graduate Opportunities for Learning and Development (G.O.L.D.) - Well-being
Well-being: Where can I find services that support my well-being?
Keeping ourselves well or knowing we need help, sometimes students are not sure where to start. Talking to your faculty advisor can be a good place for referral. If you are not sure but know you need assistance the University Counseling Center who will be happy to help you find the appropriate campus resource.
- Student Recreation Center – Offers quality facilities and fitness programs.
- Club Sports – Great for meeting people with a common interest and staying active.
- Sindecuse Health Center - Located on campus it provides a variety of professional health services.
- Counseling Services – Offers short-term individual, couples and group counseling for a diverse student population.
- Career Counseling - Speak with a career counselor about your career path, trajectory and/or any concerns you may have.
- University Ombudsperson - Assists with questions or concerns regarding grade appeals, hardship withdrawals, program dismissals, and incident reporting.
- Student Complaint Form - A process for student complaints or issues. Student Concern Form – A referral form in case you are concerned about any student’s well-being.
- Health Promotion and Education – An additional referral resource. Title IX, Sexual Misconduct or Institutional Equity provide resources and promote equity, access, and safety for all of us on campus.
Diversity & Inclusion Resources
- Office of Diversity and Inclusion - Serves as a resource and offers a number of programs to the 51¸£ÀûÉç community on various topics including, but not limited to, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability and religious tolerance
- Disability Services for Students - Helping make education accessible.
- LBGT Student Services – Provides support, education and advocacy around issues of gender identity/expression and sexual orientation.
- Division of Multicultural Affairs - Serves as an information resource on the role and value of diversity in education.
- Office of International Students - Resources to help students engage their global community.
