Application deadlines
On-going; students may be admitted for each semester. Application must be received by February 15 to be considered for a graduate assistantship.

Please prepare a statement which covers the following information, and attach it within the online application:
In a two-page, single-spaced statement, please tell us about yourself. We are interested in your background and your career aspirations. We would like to know why it is that you are interested in joining our program. If you have research interests, or if there is a particular professor at MISE with whom you would like to work, please explain. This statement should demonstrative your communication skills and writing competence.

Transcript requirement
An official transcript from the institution from which you received your bachelor degree is required, as well as a transcript from the institution(s) where any additional graduate level courses or degrees have been taken/completed. Applicants are not required to submit an official transcript of courses taken/completed at 51¸£ÀûÉç.
Additional information
Note: Applicants for this Ph.D. may also apply for concurrent enrollment in a master's degree involving this area of science (i.e., the M.S. in Geosciences or M.A. in Earth Science). Please begin that process by applying into that master's degree, and then contact the Mallinson Institute for directions on how to apply to this Ph.D. program.
