Application deadlines
Students may be admitted for Fall or Spring semester.
Application must be received by February 1 to be considered for a graduate assistantship.

A resume or curriculum vitae (CV) is required; please submit within the online application system.
Graduate test
An audition with School of Music faculty is required for admission to this program. Please see wmich.edu/music/academics/grad for more information.

Recommendations
This program requires 3 letters of recommendation. Please send email requests for such recommendations from within the online system.
Written statement
Please prepare, and attach within the online application system, a statement of 500 to 1500 words detailing your professional goals and your academic and/or career experience to this point.
Previous written work
This program does not require any previous written work be submitted.

Transcript requirement
An official transcript from the institution from which you received your bachelor degree is required, as well as a transcript from the institution(s) where any additional graduate level courses or degrees have been taken/completed. Applicants are not required to submit an official transcript of courses taken/completed at 51¸£ÀûÉç.
