General summary
Plans, manages, and supports the implementation of the University’s comprehensive fundraising campaign.
Major duties
- Manages timelines, workflow, and deadlines for key campaign projects.
- Supports strategic and operational campaign planning, including feasibility studies.
- Serves as key staff liaison to volunteer leadership, including campaign committees. Coordinates the work of volunteers.
- Manages campaign committee meetings, project work and all logistics and administration including scheduling, designing meeting agendas, drafting talking points, arranging for speakers, and overseeing activities. Records meeting notes. Assigns and follows-up on action items.
- Responsible for preparing campaign updates for delivery to University and campaign leadership. Interacts and coordinates with University leadership and internal staff regarding campaign items.
- Uses database to log information and generate reports.
- Manages campaign budget.
Minimum qualifications

Required education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Five years’ relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Database, spreadsheet, and office software proficiency.
- Demonstrated professionalism.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, advertising, public relations, communications or related field.
Required other
- Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
