General summary
Provides accelerated matchmaking and navigation services to corporate and community partners to create and maintain mutually beneficial and holistic relationships between those entitles and the University.
Major duties
- Identifies, plans, and implements strategic and holistic engagements with corporate and community partners.
- Serves as a University consultant to corporate and community partners by collaborating to understand their needs and strategic direction, offering solutions that leverage the University’s strengths.
- Understands corporate partners’ goals and priorities and proposes solutions that add value beyond the partners’ immediate requests.
- Creates strategic engagement plans for corporate and community partners.
- Serves as University representative for corporate and community engagement initiatives both internally and externally.
- Communicates cross-institutionally to liaise corporate and community partners and units across the University.
- Demonstrates leadership and rapport building to recruit internal teams to achieve the corporate and community engagement mission.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution
Required experience
- Three years' relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining partnerships with corporate and community organizations
Required other
- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
- Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including some evenings and weekends
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements
