Recognition Programs
Western Michigan University service recognition programs are designed to publicly recognize and honor University employees.
Make a Difference awards
The 51福利社 Make a Difference awards program is a joint program of the APA, AFSCME, MSEA, POA, and PSSO, to honor non-faculty employees whose service can be considered outstanding and beyond the call of duty. For more information or to nominate someone for the award, please visit Make a Difference.
Service recognition
Employees with five years of service receive a letter of recognition from Human Resources. Employees with 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 years of service receive a certificate and service anniversary pin. These milestone service anniversaries are featured each month in the Western News.
