Professor selected to represent 51福利社 at inaugural Global Senior Leadership Symposium

KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥Dr. Eric Archer, associate professor of educational leadership in higher education and allied faculty with 51福利社鈥檚 global and international studies program, has been selected as the faculty representative on a three-person team representing 51福利社 at the inaugural Global Senior Leadership Symposium in December 2020. This event is co-sponsored by EF Education First, The Forum on Education Abroad, and the Association of International Education Administrators, in partnership with the Nobel Prize Museum.

The Global Senior Leadership Symposium is a unique opportunity for higher education leaders to collaborate with a global network of peers, explore international strategies from various cultural perspectives, and discuss the role of education abroad and global mobility within higher education. Senior international educators attending this event will have first-hand access to content from the Nobel Prize Museum and their 2020 Nobel Week Dialogue themed, 鈥淭he Challenge of Learning鈥, and will hear from Nobel Laureates and education thought leaders from around the world, participate in interactive discussions around key international education themes, and collaborate identify ways to apply ideas to their own institutions. The two-day virtual experience will bring together internationalization leadership teams from 20 diverse institutions, based on a selective application process, to engage in interactive sessions led by world leaders from the host organizations and walk away with insights, ideas and varied perspectives about how to tackle global mobility in today鈥檚 world.
