Professors highlight research on developing global and inclusive graduates in higher education on the national stage

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Dr. Ramona Lewis, Faculty Specialist II and Higher Education and Student Affairs Program Coordinator, and Dr. Eric Archer, Associate Professor of Educational Leadership in Higher Education, will showcase their research on intercultural development strategies for college students at two national conferences in Spring 2021. Dr. Lewis will participate in a panel discussion on this topic at the 2021 American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Annual Conference and Dr. Archer will serve on a panel at the 2021 National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Annual Conference both being held virtually in March 2021. ACPA and NASPA are the two major professional associations in the field of higher education and student affairs. They will discuss insights from a recent chapter co-authored with another 51¸£ÀûÉç colleague, Dr. Donna Talbot, Chair of the Department of Educational Leadership, Research and Technology, and other colleagues at the University of Michigan, which was recently published (2020) in Reframing Campus Conflict: Student Conduct Practice Through the Lens of Inclusive Excellence (2nd ed.).
