Mary O’Kelly is Associate Dean for Education and User Services in the University Libraries 51¸£ÀûÉç Michigan University. She also serves as co-chair of the University Libraries faculty and is an active member in multiple professional associations. Her responsibilities include library instruction, engagement programming, and public services, in addition to an administrative portfolio involving personnel, strategic planning, budgeting, facilities, and compliance reporting.

Prior to joining Western Michigan University, she was the Head of Instructional Services in the University Libraries at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Ms. O’Kelly has extensive experience in planning, change leadership, library assessment, building collaborative partnerships, faculty governance, group facilitation, and the library’s role in student self-efficacy and retention. She holds degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
