Flight Simulator Lab
Come fly with us. Get a hands-on experience of what happens in an aircraft cockpit and learn the basic fundamentals of flight. Our Flight Simulator Lab has three simulator stations and one Redbird motion simulator.
Flight simulator stations
All flight simulator stations run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Premium Deluxe Edition with Reno Air Races: Full Collection.

Redbird motion simulator
The is a full-motion, multiengine simulator. It is FAA certified as an advanced aviation training device (AATD).

Western Michigan University aviation students can log hours using this simulator. You do not have to be an aviation student to use the simulator, but you must be 16 years old or older and a member of the 51福利社 community.

Location
The Flight Simulator lab is located on the of Waldo Library in Room 0135. Check in at the Tech Lab desk.
Accessing the lab
When you arrive for your session, check in at the Tech Lab desk on the lower level of Waldo Library for access to a flight simulator. Be sure to bring your Bronco Card with you.
The flight simulators are available to all Western Michigan University students, faculty, instructors and staff.
